I don’t know if I realized this before tonight or if tonight was just a reminder… the reason I love what I do:  It’s all about the end.  I do like the busyness, the emotion, the anticipation, the challenge of weddings, but showing off the images when they’re done, THAT is what drives me to be a photographer.

Tonight Alissa and Aaron came over (they brought their parents too) and I showed them a slideshow of their wedding.   Of course I’ve already seen all of the images, so now is my chance to watch the expressions of the couple/parents/whoever  watch what I created for them for the first time.

I don’t have words to express what it means to me.

Hello again, for my next post, the birth of Matt’s new daughter, Olivia Faith Lee.  She was born almost 3 weeks ago on Wednesday, May 20th at 9:37AM.  She was a whopping 8 lbs, 15 oz and 23 1/2 in long.  Okay maybe that’s not the biggest baby in the world, but our first daughter was three weeks early and only 6 lbs, 7 oz so that seemed huge to me.  Here’s a couple of my favorite pics that Matt took.
